The Logis Auberge du Relay Hotel was in a perfect location for our needs, halfway between Orthez and Sallies de Bearn on the main road between the two. We had a room on the back and there was no vehicle noise from the road although it might not be the same for a room on the front. The room was smaller than average but there was a large balcony with chairs and a table which would be an asset had the weather been better for this stay. Overall the room was comfortable and well equipped for our needs. The church clock in the village chimes every hour, but it is far enough away from the property that it is not intrusive and, for us, added some rural charm to our stay. On this visit we didn’t eat at the property, but we have eaten there before and always been impressed by the quality of food. There is plenty of off street parking. We have no hesitation in recommending this charming family run location which we have been visiting since 1990.

A lot, a nice older house well maintained, 5 minutes walk to the busy centre, large comfortable room with a canopied bed and big tub. The host gave us 2 beers when we asked and didn’t charge us - which was kind. Breakfast was modest but nicely presented. We left my husband’s jacket there and she held it until we could back that way a few days later . Very good communication on that front which was appreciated. Room was a very good value for what we paid. Good bicycle parking in the garage.

The room was lovelly. Modern , clean, comfortable with kettle and complementary bottle of water. The breakfast was very good and enjoyable. The lady in the morning was very nice.

We wanted a stopover on our way to Bilbao ferry port. Found the hotel not far off the motorway. The staff were friendly and helpful the room for a stopover was clean and comfortable. The evening meal was three course for E19 each and with fresh cooked ingredients was very good and great value. Would recommend

Quirky character, slightly off the beaten track, Parking was good, in summer the pool would be a nice bonus, but does need some updating around the pool and leisure area.

A really good night stopover, enroute to the Atlantic coast, from the Med. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The evening meal was a bonus to the stay and breakfast was excellent. Swimming pool was fantastic and bike storage (I love that)! 😊

Staff were very friendly and the set meal was very good. Breakfast was fine. We also tried the pool which was very refreshing. Parking was very easy. Room had a nice terrace looking out over the fields to the church
